The St. Regis Crystal rally, scheduled for Monday, February 24th, 11:30 am, has been cancelled by Local 743 President Debra Simmons-Peterson, due to both parties reaching an agreement to bargain in good faith on behalf of the membership, with both seniority and vacation pay being addressed during the discussions.

"It was a successful situation," says President Peterson. "Both parties are willing to bargain in good faith, and have the best interests of the membership in negotiating a good contract. Therefore, I'm cancelling the scheduled rally, and we will meet with St. Regis Crystal again, March 6th."
